We believe in teaching children the importance of giving back and helping others.
Maybe you are in a scout troop, church youth group, or just want your kids to have the opportunity to help.
Kids can make a difference, and we would love to get them involved!
Boxes of Basics At Home - All Ages
Teaching children to give back and help others begins at home. Make a Box of Basics by going through your child's outgrown clothes together. Put together outfits for another child to enjoy. This is a great project for a group or an individual family!
Host a Donation Drive - All Ages
Donation drives are critical to Boxes of Basics. The more quality clothing we have, the more children we can help!
Work with your kids to plan and host a donation drive to collect gently used children's clothing from their friends, sports teams, scout troop, or school.
Want to take it one step further?
Host a sorting party at the end of the drive!
Cards for Kids - All Ages
Each Box of Basics contains a handwritten note from a volunteer. Let your child or youth group get creative and design cards of positivity we can include in each box. Maybe it's a picture of a rainbow, animal, or even a cool superhero. We would love to use your child's one-of-a-kind card in a box!
1. Please leave the inside of each card blank.
2. Cards can be any size. From 3x5 cardstock to an 81/2x11 sheet of paper.
Pack Boxes of Basics in our Warehouse
Warehouse Volunteers must be at least 12 years old and must be accompanied by a parent during the entire shift.
We do not allow youth volunteers to be dropped off.
