On February 12, more than 80 community leaders, referral partners, and supporters gathered for the Boxes of Basics Community Leaders Luncheon at Sweeney Barn in Manassas.

Guests heard from the Boxes of Basics team about our 2025 impact and the growing needs of the children we serve. The room was filled with meaningful conversation, valuable feedback, and collaborative brainstorming about new ways to strengthen our programs and expand our reach.

With the support of our partners at MG Moving Services and Micron, nearly 1,000 hygiene kits were distributed following the luncheon for attendees to take back to their organizations and share directly with children in need.

Together, we are building stronger support systems for the children in our community.

With nearly 40 pickleball teams, over 105 golfers, and an incredible sense of community spirit, the weekend was full of fun, competition, and connection. Most importantly, together we raised critical funds to support our mission of providing clothing to local children in need.
